Yokohama Tokyo Headquarters will be relocated from January 10
Yokohama Tokyo Headquarters will be relocated from January 10, 2023. The new headquarters is located in Hiratsuka City, Japan, and the relocation is expected to be completed on March 6.
Yokohama said that the purpose of the relocation is to improve operational efficiency through group management and to promote "work style reform".
Not everyone has moved to the new headquarters in Hiratsuka, though. Some employees will move into the newly established Tokyo office.
According to reports, Yokohama owns a factory in Hiratsuka. From January to September this year, the company's sales were 615.764 billion yen (about 31.08 billion yuan), a year-on-year increase of 33.7%.
