Significant Benefits! A Batch Of High-End Tire Projects Are About To Land
On August 18th, the Shandong Provincial Development and Reform Commission interpreted the "Notice on Optimizing the Management of Tire Casting Projects".
It is understood that this notice is mainly aimed at the issue of difficulty in landing some tire projects and has been reviewed and proposed.
The interpretation points out that the "Notice" mainly has four aspects of content.
One is to support high-end. For new high-end tire projects, production capacity, energy consumption, and carbon emission substitution policies will no longer be implemented.
The Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Department of Industry and Information Technology should prevent blind development and low-level redundant construction of projects that do not meet the requirements.
At the same time, clarify the standards for high-end tire projects from dimensions such as investment volume and production capacity scale. Projects that are not included in the high-end project directory are not allowed to be constructed.
The second is to enhance the mid-range. Accelerate the transformation and improvement of existing tire projects, with a focus on promoting energy efficiency improvement.
The third is to eliminate the low-end. Exit projects that do not meet safety, environmental protection, technical and other requirements.
Especially since 2021, the capacity utilization level of projects has been below 20% for two consecutive years.
The fourth is the development of clustering. Relying on leading enterprises, promoting the merger and reorganization of tire enterprises, guiding the gathering of production capacity and factor resources towards advantageous enterprises and core regions.
