Overseas Tire Factory, Orders Continue To Fill Up
According to the relevant person in charge of General Motors, the company is making every effort to seize overseas markets.
Its Thai factory is placing orders, exceeding its existing production capacity by more than 50%, and the semi steel tires continue to burst.
In September, the factory had nearly 200000 orders for all steel tires, which many large customers were unable to meet. Newly developed projects require customers to queue for a long time.
At present, the factory is fully meeting customer needs through measures such as optimizing production scheduling and internal potential tapping.
It is understood that the Thailand factory of General Motors has over 50% of large-sized semi steel tires with a size of 17 inches or more.
In addition, the company's second overseas production base, the Cambodian factory, is also accelerating the ramp up of production capacity.
It has established a special team for the project to achieve production and strive for full production in the second half of 2024. It is expected to increase operating revenue by 2.2 billion yuan.
On the other hand, the US Department of Commerce revised the anti-dumping tax rate on Thai tires in July.
Thanks to this adjustment, the company's sales growth and gross profit margin to the United States will be significantly increased.
