According to authoritative sources, Shouguang Fumeisi Tire Co., Ltd. plans to invest in building a tire factory in Cambodia.
Its designed annual production capacity is 1.2 million all steel radial tires and 8 million semi steel radial tires.
A person familiar with the matter stated that the project is currently in the approval and publicity stage. The specific construction address and investment amount have not been disclosed to the public.
According to the data, Fumax Tire is located in Shouguang, Shandong, and was established in 2011, covering an area of over 1000 acres.
Its designed annual production capacity is 12 million sets of semi steel radial tires and 1 million sets of all steel radial tires.
Weifang Shunfuchang Rubber and Plastic Co., Ltd. is the parent company of Fumax Tire.
It is understood that Cambodia has become an important tire importing country for the United States.
Sailun Tire, General Motors, and Double Star Tire have all built factories in Cambodia.
Among them, Sailun Cambodia's semi steel tire factory has been put into operation, and the full steel tire factory has achieved full line connectivity.
On May 22 of this year, the General Cambodia base was officially put into operation. The foundation of the Double Star Cambodia factory has been laid and construction is being accelerated.
