Two Chinese Tire Brands, Ranking Among The Top 15 Globally
Recently, the international analysis firm Brand Finance released the "Top 15 Global Tire Brand Values 2023".
French Michelin tires, with a brand value of $7.9 billion, have been at the top of the list for six consecutive years.
Japan's Bridgestone and Germany's Continental Horse continue to rank second and third on the list.
The Chinese racing tire ranks 11th on the list and is also the brand with the fastest value growth on the list.
Linglong Tires closely followed, with the two being the only Chinese tire brands on the list.
It is reported that the list includes 3 Japanese and 3 American brands each, and 2 Chinese and Indian brands each; Brands from France, Germany, Italy, South Korea, and Singapore each hold one seat.
Michelin, Pirelli, Sailun, and Linglong are among the few brands to maintain positive value growth in 2023.
Analysis indicates that tire brands from Japan and Europe and America still dominate the market. Its total brand value accounts for 85% of the brand value on the entire list.
Although China's tire production ranks first globally, further efforts are needed in brand building.
