Tire Company's Overseas Factory Is Currently Selecting A Site!
The expansion of Nexen Tire's Czech factory will be completed in September.
The factory was put into operation in 2019, and immediately after completion, the second phase expansion plan was launched. After the expansion is completed, the annual production of the factory will jump from 5.5 million to 11 million.
It is estimated that by 2025, the total production capacity of Nexen Tire will reach 52 million. Among them, two factories in South Korea produce 30 million pieces per year, while factories in China produce 11 million pieces per year.
At the same time, this company is actively promoting the establishment of American factories to meet future demand.
Its target production capacity is 11 million units, and it will be put into operation between 2028 and 2029.
Currently, Nike is selecting a site for the factory and acknowledges the possibility of acquisition and joint venture.
It is understood that since 2003, this tire manufacturer has been pursuing a high-end strategy for a long time. They stopped the production of truck and bus tires and instead developed ultra-high performance tires.
After Hyundai and Volkswagen, the company has established partnerships with luxury brands such as Porsche and Mercedes Benz.
