The Tire Factory Has Just Expanded And Added New Production Capacity
Recently, JK Tire of India announced that its Bangalore factory has completed the first phase of expansion.
This expansion has increased the annual production capacity of the factory by 31% and can produce 5.1 million passenger tires annually.
Raghupati Singhania, Chairman of JK Tire, attended the project completion ribbon cutting ceremony.
He stated that the company is continuously expanding its manufacturing scale and product range to meet the needs of domestic and foreign customers.
It is reported that the first phase of the project has an investment of 3.12 billion rupees (approximately RMB 276 million).
After the completion of the first phase of the project, the second phase expansion project will begin immediately and is expected to be completed by April 2024.
The second phase of the project will require an additional investment of 6.17 billion rupees (approximately RMB 545 million), with an expected production increase of 31%.
According to data, the JK Tire Bangalore factory was founded in 1991 and covers an area of 85 hectares.
The factory has created approximately 15000 local jobs and promoted regional economic growth.
The products produced by this factory include environmentally friendly tires, smart tires, and puncture resistant tires.
