Recently, Apollo Tires opened a tire testing center (ADTC) at its R&D center in Chennai, India.
The new center is mainly used for testing high-end passenger car tires and motorcycle tires.
They are equipped with dedicated testing equipment for electric car tires and smart car tires.
The new device simulates real-world road conditions to help assess the impact of tires on vehicle handling.
Additionally, the center has an anechoic chamber for evaluating tire noise, vibration and stiffness (NV&H).
Apollo Tires said that this move can continuously improve the efficiency of the product development process.
Testing under simulated real-world conditions allows them to precisely optimize the performance of their products.
It is reported that the medium-term strategy formulated by Apollo Tire pointed out that technology is the key element of development.
