Guo Zonglang attaches great importance to the construction progress of this project. He believes that this large factory will bring huge benefits to Cambodian society and economy.

According to reports, the GM Cambodia plant is under intensive construction and is expected to be completed and put into production in May 2023. The factory is located in the Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone, with a planned total land area of nearly 180,000 square meters. The total investment of the project is 300 million US dollars (about 2.087 billion yuan), and it is invested and constructed by General Tire Technology (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. After completion, it can produce 5 million semi-steel tires and 900,000 all-steel tires annually.
At the same time, it can create about 1,600 local jobs. Its tire products will be sold to the United States and European countries.

It is understood that after being put into production, the factory needs 300 tons of rubber per day. They will purchase these raw materials in neighboring countries such as Cambodia.
